Today is Malakai's 40th week of life on the outside. He was born 2 days short of 40 weeks so I've officially been a mother longer than I was pregnant. I considered myself a mama while I was pregnant, but we all know there is surely a difference!
It's already getting harder to remember what it was like to be pregnant and have not met him yet. I remember that Ben and I were so eager in those last few weeks. We couldn't wait to see what he looked like and hold him in our arms.
