I'm so excited to introduce you all to another Etsy shop! I discovered Oh, Little Rabbit while browsing for something unique for Malakai to wear to his pirate-themed 1st birthday. I bookmarked their shop and went on to search for party favor options + cake ideas. When I decided to start featuring hand-made shops through interviews, reviews, and of course a giveaway I decided to check in with Jason + Cara of Oh, Little Rabbit and was so excited when they said yes!
They sell lovely + unique block printed totes, throw pillow covers, napkins, placemats, onesies + then some. Here's more from Cara!
Where are you located + are you from there originally? We are located in Albany Oregon, right in the center of the beautiful Willamette Valley! I (Cara) am from here originally, and my husband (Jason) spent most of his growing up years in Page Arizona right next to Lake Powell.
How did you come up with your shop name? Jason's grandmother is from switzerland and she would always quote a little saying in Swiss which which translated to "Oh,little rabbit" and was the equivalent to "oh my goodness". I just thought it was adorable so we decided to use it for our name.
How long have you had your shop? Only 4 months! It is crazy how much has happened in such a short amount of time. A lot of planing and research went in to our shop before we got started and I think that helped us get to where we are now. We love what we are doing and are thrilled to be able to share that love with others.
What inspires you? We live in the northwest so we are always inspired by nature and the raw beauty it has to offer. Natural and organic materials are important to us. We love to make practical, useful and Eco friendly art. Antique and vintage items play a large role in our design concept as well, and we enjoy textiles that look like they would belong in your grandmothers farmhouse.
What is your favorite item in your shop? I guess at the moment it would have to be the reusable produce bags! We love the practicality of them, and they are a great alternative to all that plastic!
Do you have any other jobs or hobbies? Jason is currently in school working towards his degree in nursing. We are also working as managers for a family business, but Oh, Little Rabbit is definitely my career and the best job I have ever had!
Share an interesting fact about yourself. We love camping and biking! Jason has actually biked across the united states 3 times!
What do you hope your future holds? We look forward to starting a family and enjoying life in the beautiful northwest, creating art and sharing our passion with others.
And keep your eye out for Oh, Little Rabbit in the November issue of Country Living!

Shandell's Review
Remember this adorable onesie + how I slyly hinted about it in my birthday post?
Remember this adorable onesie + how I slyly hinted about it in my birthday post?
Well Cara + Jason so kindly sent me a short-sleeve version for Malakai to wear for his 1st Birthday party. It was a total hit and I loved how unique it was as opposed to doing a typical pirate costume. In case you missed it, here's a shot of him at his party.
In my opinion {cause that's what this part is all about} it's versatile enough to wear on a daily basis. The print is solid and has survived several washes and is still as bold as the day we got it! It's printed on a Gerber onesie, which I'm not usually the biggest fan of, but it's nice + thin for hot summer days. If you don't already know, Gerber onesie's run really small so always order a size up!
